Still cooking
The ping is better, as is the uplink speed, lost a meg in the downlink, but stability is now rock solid (I can actually watch iPlayer and YouTube - not sure if that is a blessing really )

DLM won't be removed, it can't be as yet, but it can be reconfigured. just be aware that any changes made might get undone if DLM is still running...changes won't be permanent until DLM has completed

Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines
it was said earlier that it can be removed if it is causing unstable lines and its causing my line to perform like a bag of c++p loads of disconnections loads of slowness and a very shoddy expierience on the net , from a decent 16mbit connection to a bag of c++p , im on day 11 of this dlm stuff so im gonna see wht can be done later hopefully they can get this sorted out asap

it can't be removed - only worked on until finished...only 2 people i know who've had it removed are both managers at Sky that got done for no reason!!

Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines
i know!! just shows how little has been thought of with this DLM...
most lines that started beginning of the month are finished and people are getting lines back to normal so not quite sure what DLM was for...i do know a LOT of people have benefitted from it. more than have been adversly affected
