Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines
I think my line is still under DLM, but I wanted to know how to get detailed stats from my router? The Mognuts utility no longer works on my Sky (Netgear) router. I wanted to find out if I had been changed to ADSL2+.
Cheers

Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines
it usually lowers them to 16/8 so chances are it was the move the adsl2+ (if not already on it) that's affected your line...

Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines
I don't know if my line is under DLM but my average speed has increased to 10 meg/sec at all times and has hit 11 on some occasions without any real drop of noise ratio.
Anyways I am off on my holidays and usually turn my router off while I'm away for more than a couple of days.
If I am under DLM will this badly affect it if I turn the router off for 2 weeks?

Turn it off and go and have a nice time. Its something you can sort when you get back.

My friendly Sky engineer guy (who told me today he's been following the forums with interest, so be nice! *waves*) told me that mine had been set back up to 16, so he put them back down to 8 for me.
You might want to ring and get them to check.

Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines
Good evening to everyone, and a special greeting to anyone from Sky ( grovels in mortification "we are not worthy").
Yes DLM can effect interleaving depth and hence latency
