On Demand Movie Genres Default to SD Download even for HD Customers

      Hi

Having not subscribed to sky movies for a while, I upgraded to the service over the Christmas Holiday Period.

I have noticed that when I navigate to the on Demand Movies section of the EPG and choose a category, lets say "Sci-Fi Spectacular" and choose to download a movie, it will automatically download an SD version.

The only way for me to download the HD equivalent is to come back out to the main category screen and choose "HD", where I am then presented with a long boring list to scroll through.

Surely it makes sense to offer the user the SD or HD version when they choose the film they wish to download? I know that this option is given in Boxsets but it doesn’t seem to apply to movies

Anyone know why this is the case or whether Sky plan on updating this?

The beta testers mentioned this sometime ago but nothing is on the horizon yet. The quickest way to find the HD version is to use search.
