Incredibly confused over on demand entertainment extra box sets etc!!

Hi all, I currently have standard sky entertainment pack, sports pack, movie pack and HD pack costing 61 a month. I keep seeing the advert for on demand box sets seeing you need entertainment extra + for box sets, so why can I watch them without said subscription? The only box sets I can't watch are abc studio ones and any Nat Geo or kids stuff, are sky accidentally letting me have on demand or is this all normal? Also from reading various stuff it seems if I cancel HD costing 10 a month and add entertainment extra + I will get all HD channels AND all box sets AND all documentary and kids channels for 5 less a month?! Is this correct? So confused!!! Thanks.

It's because you have the HD pack, if you downgrade to EE+ you will lose the movies and sports HD channels, my recommendation is to stick with what you have unless movies and sport HD is not important to you.

Thanks for that! HD is VERY important to me, hate watching SD now since having HD! So if I pay 5.50 a month more for EE+ I will basically have everything I'm missing now, (discovery, nat geo, kids) bar extra specialist channels?

If you log onto the Sky website and look at your current package, you can then look at the upgrade offer.

Before doing the upgrade, check to see how much you are paying for the HD Pack. If it is 10.50 and you wish to keep the ability to watch the Sky F1 Channel, then do not downgrade it.

You should be able to add the Entertainment+ Pack, but this will cost you a little extra.

For a list of the packs and to see their respective contents see here: Sky TV Packages - the latest in Digital TV, 3D TV and Movies on Demand

The HD pack gives all the HD channels in you package set. EE+ will not give anything extra.

If you get Discovery SD you should already have access to Discovery HD if not then you need EE and not EE+
