annoyed by skystore on demand pricing

I've just spotted something that has got my goat, I was looking for a film to watch earlier (as usual the 100s of channels were dire) but I spotted that HD on demand movies are 1 more than SD movies which doesn't sound much but as far as I'm concerned I'm paying for the HD privelage allready @10pm
      JUST ANOTHER CON.

It could be worse. I was at my Mothers house recently watching my brother while she went to church. Mother is a BT customer, she has phone, broadband, and bt vision. I had missed a recent episode of Coronation street and as there was nothing on I went to the catch up section of the BT vision box and the ITV player section. Imagine my amazement at finding that one 22 minute episode of corry costs 1.10 .

I understand how it makes people feel, but you need to remember it's an additional service to what you pay for Nd therefore your current subscription doesn't have any bearing. I guess what would be good to know and would prove of it is or isn't a con is whether you have to subscribe to HD to rent a HD movie. If so then I'd agree it doesn't feel right. If you don't then it seems like standard business practice.

that certainly used to be the case but as I've had full package for a few yes now I can't be sure.
its still a con however you look at tho, especially as the purposely lower the bit rate on SD all you have to do is compare SD sky to SD freesat on relatively decent sets, and they have now done is cost themselves a fee of 3.49 by pricing at 4.49 on principal I won't use ppv now.
But like all big company's it seems they don't get the sell lots for less rather than fewer more expensive fees-false economy.
