      I forgot to ask this one, but would appreciate it too:

      Specifically how is your STB connected to the router and which router do you have.

      i.e. Ethernet cable, Mini WiFi adaptor, HomePlugs, Sky Hub SR101, etc.

      Please include the make and model where possible.

      Model Number R007.061.49.00P
      Version Number: 4f3101
      (I believe this is a Amstrad DRX890 500GB Sky+HD box - but would need to pull it out to check the label if the above information is not enough)

      Connected by cat5 cable (via 8 port 100Mb/s switch) to Sagem 2504N

      I can confirm that images displayed correctly in the Showcase tab, that the network setup screen showed a valid DHCP assigned IP address and that connections to the internet and on demand services showed as 'OK'.

      Router appeared to be functioning correctly (I could browse the internet from other devices, and router was not reset as part of the trouble-shooting).

      I am connected via the original Sky wi-fi adapter (the one that looks like a mini STB) to a TP-Link TL-WR702N wireless router and a DG834GT with netgear firmware. Interestingly the Sky wi-fi adapter was always losing connection when it was connected directly to the wi-fi on the DG834GT.

      Could I ask you to double check which firmware you have again please. R008.063.49.08P is now available on the DR Stream. If you don't have this, please update to it as it may help.

      There have been a few updates to the firmware as different issues are identified and resolved, but this issue specifically hasn't been mentioned (nor have a few others which have been resolved).

      I'm still on R007.061.49.00P. I'll force a download and see if I see it again, although that's a month since I last saw it. Couldn't tell you if the box was rebooted during that time or not though.

      Could you try this please:

      In order to get the version on the DR Stream, you will need to perform a forced update. To do this, please do the following:


      1. Power off your Sky+ HD STB at the mains
      2. Press and hold the <Backup> button on the top of the box (NB: Not the remote control!)
      3. Power on the Sky+ HD STB at the mains, whilst continuing to hold the <Backup> button
      4. Keep holding the <Backup> button until either the four LEDs on the front, to the right of the centre of the Sky box illuminate or the display on your TV confirms that the process has begun
