      switching to sky

      Hi people

im thinking of switching to sky fibre from my current supplier..
the cabinet im on is very busy and when I got my fibre I had to wait for a socket to become available..
when switching will I lose this socket and have to wait for another one or will sky just use the same one and it all go through smoothly or do sky use their own kit ?

we can't have any loss of fibre that would be a disaster for the smooth running of my household...🙂

      thank you for any help

Only way to know that is to ask Sky I would think, they should be able to tell you.

Should just be work at the exchange to connect your line to Sky's equipment, shouldn't require any work at the cabinet.

if its a change of GEA product then it counts as a cease and provide meaning if your cabinet has a waiting list, your port will get reallocated. If it does not have a waiting list then you should be fine.
