Thats all i want,the tv install to go ahead and then get broadband once the Bt line is active .It was with the letter saying i needed the Bt line active or no tv install that worried me,thanks

Just don't say anything to the installer. When he finishes installing it and he asks where the telephone line is tell him you are waiting on it being activated and show him where the socket is.

Bt activated the line early so now the phone is working before the tv install.
Now when can i order the broadband.Checking our number with the online phone checker does not work,is this because its not listed on a database yet?.Do i have to wait a few days for this or can i order now.Will Sky send the router for self install,

It can take 10-14 days for a new line to get on to the data base. All you can do is keep using the online checker until it says you can get Sky. I would not order until your line is ready, very often this can lead to more delays.

When you order broadband, Sky will send out your router.

Hi have you had a look at your exchange to see if Sky have their LLU packages enabled you can use this link SamKnows Broadband - Availability - Exchange Search or just put the name of the exchange on your next post.

Yes my exchange is enabled.My phone number is just now started to show on the sky checker.It says that there might be a problem though,so i will keep checking.Earlier it said i had no bt line,so its a start

Hi as you say your exchange is Sky unbundled make sure that Sky put you on one of Sky`s LLU packages. Not the connect package

If there are no slots available for LLU on your exchange you will be put on Connect on a temporary basis. If this happens you will normally be given a discounted cost, paying no more than you would for the package you have signed up for. Hopefully, the checker will tell you you can get Base, Everyday or Unlimited.
