yeah i'm worried now mate, I forgot about your post.
Thought i'd had it too easy.

What do you suggest I do ?

See in your other post that that you mentioned you had to go through "provisions" or something. Was that at Skys end or Ukonlines ?

I know I have to contact Ukonline after switch over to cancel the DD's shall i query anything with them at this point or is it beyond Ukonlines control now ?

I think what I said will turn out to be correct.

You need to cancel then wait for the cease to complete before you can order Sky broadband.

This is what Chordiant tells us when we try to order it so unfortunately it may look like its working but then it will totally f***-up and it will take ages to fix.

Re: Migrate from Ukonline to Sky (LLU)

Yeah things appear to be working fine at the moment, i'm tempted just to bury my head in the sand and see what happens.

Was kinda hoping this ukonline<>sky circus would be solved my now.

Brian69's post about contacting ukonline sales and there response that it shouldn't be a problem switching over gave me hope, and at the moment i'm connected up with sky with a new sky IP address.

DLM had started overnight with my speed gone from 4mb down 512k up to 8mb down and 768k up.
Not gonna test if i've still got ukonline connectivity as i'd need to reboot the modem and don't want to mess with the DLM.

So the problems IF they will start will come when the Ukonline service ceases ?
Does this happen after I cancel my Ukonline Direct debit which i'm yet to do?

Re: Migrate from Ukonline to Sky (LLU)

Just poppin back to confirm that everything seems to be going well.

Cancelled the UKO direct debit on the 10th July, as of today 27th July connection is fine, i'd be very surprised if something went t*ts up now !!!!

just to summarise the process what happend for my switchover.

1) Requested & received MAC from UKO, 25/06/09
2) MAC rejected by Sky online ordering system same day eg 25/06/09
3) MAC accepted by Sky telesales 29/06/09
4) Sky BB activated 08/07/09, strangley during the day can connect with both Sky and UKO login details. No downtime which was a bonus.
5) UKO login details no longer work 09/07/09
6) Cancelled UKO direct debit 10/07/09
7) Still going strong up to todays date, no problems at all.

thanks again to everyones help.
