ive been pulling my hair out with all this port forwarding ,static ip address stuff and was about to give up when I found you superb guide ,I found I very straight forward and have now got reasonable connection on utorrent
but I have a small question can I use the open port for limewire as well as utorrent (I guess not at the same time ) but possibly independently

Just do the same thing and use a different port for LimeWire, Make sure you set these ports to open in any computer firewall you may have installed, e.g McAfee!
