Try moving the antenna on the router, or you could try changing the channel?

ur problem is to do with an IP configuration error. What u need to do is have ur ethernet cable plugged in when u first try to connect wirelessly. The router will then give ur wireless a proper IP 192.168.0.3. If not best thing u can do is set an IP manually for ur wireless. This is not a channel issue, it's an IP range problem

Re: How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings

I'm having similar problems where my connection trips out and the internet gateway staus clock freezes. I changed the channel to 11 in case it was out hands free BT phone but it's still happening.

Would disableing my wireless and setting up via the ethernet cable solve my problem ?

Can I suggest that WPA-PSK configuration is added (with a strong recommendation that it is used). A friend failed to do so and his neighbour (we believe that it was him) used up the whole of my friend's monthly bandwidth allowance in three days.

With the base Sky account providing only 2GB, and the mid Sky account providing 40GB per month this could easily be an issue. For the same price as the mid Sky account, at least one ISP allows a total of 330GB per month.

Re: How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings

HELP! I'm just trying to log back inot my router to change some of my settings, did the usual http://192.168.0.1 etc but I can't remember my password (the "admin" "sky" options don't work so I think I changed the password - can't remember!) Is there anyway to find out what my password is? or could I maybe reset my router and start again? I need to make my router visable to searches so I can log onto it using my new work laptop!

Any help would be great - thanks!
