Re: How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings
Do a factory reset on the thing. There's a teeny, tiny hole in the back of the router, just below the power lead connection, into which you'll need to poke a suitable object - most folk use an opened out paperclip. Press gently till you see the lights go out and hold it in for about ten seconds till the test light blinks and then release. Should be good to go once it all staggers back into life.

I will be making one of these for the new routers and will include WPA-PSK as aprt of this.
I just have one or two things that need sorting before this can be done, but it will be sorted within the next day or two.

Re: How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings
Wheelie
please excuse me but ime new.
Your instructions on "How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings" dated 2006.
Has anything changed since then.?. Also do these need setting up on the main PC or just my Laptop which will be wireless.
I printed out the file and hope to make a start as soon as ive been activated. This will certainly help me to get going.
Thank you

Re: How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings
If you are setting up a wireless network for both your PCs then you will need to connect the router to one of your computers so you can access the router menu to be able to turn the wireless function on. Once you have done this follow the instructions in the guide, remove the cabled connection and add the password key to your computers so they can connect to the router wirelessly.

Re: How to Configure your Router's Wireless Settings
Try changing the Channel on the router, start at 13 and work down. Also change the Mode to g&b or g only.
