Sky Portal - Adding Additional Emails

Go here www.skybroadband.com and login:

Once logged in click on MY PROFILE in the top menu, the MY PROFILE again just below it.

Login again (note you can skip the above two if you log in below first www.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/mysky

Now click on EDIT MY SKY PROFILE

You now have three options
VIEW MY PERSONAL DETAILS - Change your details etc
VIEW MY LOGIN DETAILS - Change your password etc
Click on VIEW MY ADDITIONAL USERS

Any users created will appear under active users.
Click on SET UP AN ADDITIONAL USER

Input your details, the email address is used to send you a welcome message

The username will be your new sky email address and will be used to login.

Success

You can now login with the new account and check your emails (can take longer than one hour to activate).

I also noticed that if you delete a user they are still active and can log in to the email and access your sky services.

NOTE: If you do not get an option to create additional users then this is a problem with your account/sky portal. Sky will need to fix this. I believe they are aware.

Cool Accessing Sky portal

Hi,

I have set up my e-mail, changed the password that was sent but since then I have not been able to get in to the protal. I have called Sky BB a few times but they keept telling me there was a problem. I have been on Sky BB nearly a month now and have given up!

Please advise.

Cheers Fly.

@Flymckie

This might explain your current situation (as posted earlier by an undercover Sky Agent......lol)

"The problems with the webmail, according to our own status page, is actually with the passwords being incorrect...so if you can't log in...there's very little we can really do. We do have a method set up for us to change the passwords...but it doesn't work! So we press the lovely button, it sends you a nice replacement, and it doesn't change it on the system...my advice is not to even bother asking for it to change until the problem is sorted (it is...kind of...just now, but not quite). Also, if you do have access...DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD...it messes up the system, and usually means you can't log in all over again. "

So a solution for you might not be too far away........maybe......possibly..........hopefully .

To be honest I've seen schoolkids able to design better systems that actually work!!!!

The Sky portal is designed by someone else (its a CMPS), I can't remember who it is now but I believe they support it.
