Known Issues with the Sagem F@st 2504N Router

Issue 1: The routers configuration interface is very slow to respond. I put this down to the web interface being poorly written/rushed. Hopefully they release an updated firmware at some point that fixes this.
Update: Firmware version 6.14.1a4N_UNI has fixed this.

Issue 2 (and a solution I found to work) : Port forwarding for wireless connected devices doesn't work. I have found that it does, but it needs a little push for wireless devices.

First add the rule for the port and device(s) you want to configure, then click apply on that page. Now go to the MAC address filtering section of the wireless settings or click here http://192.168.0.1/sky_wireless_sett...ccessList.html (it will take a while for anything to show up).

Now without changing anything on that page just click on "apply". You should find that your new firewall rules now get applied to wireless connected devices too.

I originally found this when trying to block torrent traffic via wireless when we had lots of relatives over, whom many of which had laptops and smart phones with them and were wanting to connect to my wireless network. My method for doing this was to simply block all ports and allow only the essential ports needed for web browsing and a few other things.

Issue 3: Wireless and LAN devices cannot see each other.
Update: Firmware version 6.14.1a4N_UNI has fixed this.

Sky Fibre "Unlimited" at peak time.

Sky Fibre Unlimited (I was estimated around 30mbps but only sync @ 24mbps).
      ECI B-FOCuS V-2FUb/I Rev.B Openreach FTTC modem

Getting reduced throughput at peak times (4pm-11pm). Sky Suck for broadband.
