    Down time part 2 - anyone else?

    This is a discussion on Down time part 2 - anyone else? within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; from early this evening, i think around 7pm, not been able to connect. As before, the line is syncing fine, ...

      Down time part 2 - anyone else?

      from early this evening, i think around 7pm, not been able to connect. As before, the line is syncing fine, but the router gave this message when i ran the 'sky test'...........

      "The Sky Test was unable to detect the Internet connection

      Error code:300"

      anyone else unable to connect?. A mate in the next village (different exhange) is connecting fine.

      it il prob be a problem at the exhange it should beback tomorrow

      You did try pulling the power lead out of the router and then putting it back in again, didn't you?

      yeah, tried all the usual stuff. Still not able to connect, and its now 11:10pm. Guess i;ll just have to wait and see in the morning

      Which exchange are you on?

      EDIT: Found it, SLBAL. This exchange is currently having connectivity issues. Started at about 20:00 tonight. Some customers may be getting error 300 on the Sky test.

      It's on an IP restricted webserver I'm afriad. You're best off calling tech support and asking if there are any outages on your exchange.

      That doesn't appear to cover Easynet LLU equipment though. Probably only useful for those on Connect.
