Re: ADSL line gone dead 3 days after activation :-(

Finally my connection is back on. I did however only find out my plugging the router back in and seeing what the lights did. I've been promised call backs ove r the last 2 weeks and had none. We shall see if the connection lasts and if indeed they tell me they think it's fixed. Next challenge is getting a rebate!

Here's a timeline of what happened to me.

      Sky Broadband

      March
1st - Order placed for Sky Broadband Mid and Sky Talk Unlimited.
      3rd - Router arrived.
12th - Sky Broadband Active, BT Order to "Provide LLU".
13th - BT Order to "Cease LLU".
15th - Sky Broadband not working. Ticket opened with Sky.
16th - BT Order to "Cease LLU" Completed, Rang BT Wholesale. Informed all looked OK from their side.
19th - Rang Sky. No update. Sky Talk activated.
20th - Rang Sky. Told was being dealt with by Tier 3.
21st - Call raised to BT at 22:30.
22nd - Rang Sky, told 48hr response from BT, should be called tomorrow.
      23rd - No update.
      24th - No update.
      25th - Nothing - 10 days out
26th - No update. Ticket updated for Tier 2 to call, Letter with package info, Sky Talk Unlimited missing.
27th - No update, Connection working.

Total calls to BT Wholesale: 2, duration ~10 minutes
Total calls to Sky: ~10, duration ~2.5 hours, single longest 49 min on hold to tier 3. Average call time ~10 min.

Hang in guys, it does come back eventually. I just hope it stays!

Re: ADSL line gone dead 3 days after activation :-(

I was without mine from the 9th March to the 20th or 21st cant remember when it came back on as I was too excited.

On the BT order tracker HERE I can see that my order was ceased but I cant see an order that actually puts the line back to LLU. I can see just 3 items on the order tracker

      1. The Provide of LLU on 23rd Feb
      2. The actual switch over to LLU 6th March
      3. The Cease of LLU on the 9th

Is this what other people see on there account? As the line is working, but I dont want to be cut off in the future as they have no record of the line ever being enabled again.

Same with mine - there is nothing on my BT order tracker to say the line was ever put back onto LLU. But it was fixed ok by Sky/BT.
