      Unhappy Master Socket Check.

      HI, I HAVE JUST TRIED TO CHECK MY MASTER SOCKET AS I DONT THINK I AM RECIEVING THE BEST SPEED POSSIBLE. I AM SUPPOSED TO BE ON SKY MAX ALTHOUGH I AM GETTING SPEEDS OF 2.5-3.0 MBPS. i CONNECTED THE FILTER TO THE TEST SOCKET ON MY MASTER SOCKET AND COULDN'T GET A CONNECTION UNTIL I PUT IT BACK TO WHEERE IT WAS. I TRIED IT A FEW TIMES BUT GOT THE SAME RESULT.-PLEASE HELP.

      If you are not getting a connection from the test socket, this suggests there is something wrong with it. Does your phone work OK?
      As an aside, it is considered rude to use all caps on any forum

      Edit @Does your phone work OK' I should have said when you plug it in to the test socket.

      I sent a text to my mate in caps cos I was in a rush and couldn't be bothered changing case, he sent one back demanding to know why I was shouting at him!!! I didn't know what caps meant! I must be getting old!

      Don't be upset, many newcomers to forum posting are unaware of the etiquette. Have you tried your phone in the test socket?
