Still no joy - Stuck on 2048 downstream / 416 upstream and lucky if I'm achieving 1.7mb download speed on a 7mb line!

Tried getting an update from tier 3 today and tech support are saying they are not allowed to pass you through to speak to them!!! Is that right? Got a ticket raised thankfully - just wanted to make sure it wasn't bloody closed or something.

Anybody else got stuck like this when they 1st got started on Mid? Beginning to wonder why I bothered swapping ISP's now!

Getting 1775kbps download / 348kbps upload on a Namesco Speedtest and the following stats off the Router:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 2048 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 49.0 db 29.5 db
Noise Margin 20.8 db 13.0 db
