      rejected MAC code

I'm trying to migrate from Freenetname/Madasafish, which is not an LLU provider, to Sky's Mid package. Two times now, after the initial welcome aboard / not long now letter, I've received "Unfortunately we are unable to process your order any further as the MAC you supplied us has been rejected by BT as being invalid or incorrect". Now, Madasafish claim it's correct, and say they can't give me another one (because it was given by BT in the first place) until the 30 days are up. Which means a long wait. This has happened twice now, and my request to migrate has been cancelled twice. What can I do? Is this Sky messing up or should I try to get hold of BT and sort the problem out there?

      Re: rejected MAC code

It's probably sky's fault, you need to treat the person on the phone in a very simple manner taking them really slowly through each of the letters and numbers or they'll take it down wrong which is what hapenned with me!
Make sure they read it back to you and everything then you should be ok!

Make sure that the Sky person inputs the code in upper case, happened to me and used same code and went through 2nd time.

Ring service recovery. Sounds like your order was submitted with an incorrect or no postcode.
