      Please take a look at the many, many other posts elsewhere on these forums to see that lots of other people are having the same problems... sorry I don't know what the solution is

      cheers,
      David.

      @tages

      Welcome to the forum

      Connection problems can be down to a number of reasons.

      As you are connecting wirelessly you should look at this first. Do you get these problems if you connect via a cable? If no then have a look at the wireless forum for advice. If yes then the problem is probably due to one of three things:
      • the UPnP bug
      • a noisy line
      • an equipment fault

      To solve the first you need to turn UPnP off in your router. For the second you need to try a connection with your test socket. For the third, well that's unlikely but that's what's left when you've eliminated all other causes.

      My best guess is it's a UPnP and/or wireless problem.

      OK - you may need to reboot both the router and the PC after you turn UPnP off.
