      modem dying? or connection?

      Package - connect

At 8pm today, 'most' of my internet went down.
I say most, as there were still around 3 sites i could access for some strange reason, but every other site would just show a blank page.

      This happened on both computers

Called support, tier2 will call me back within 5 days (great, no hurry then)

Anyway, i unplugged modem (as its on 24/7) and left it for 10-15 minutes (had tried resetting it 3 times already before this)

Once plugged back in, everything is fine again.

Now im asking as a while back i read stories on here about modem burning out, do you think this is the case, or did it just want a rest

It could possibly be suffering from the UPnP bug, although not guaranteed

Try this link at the bottom it shows about UPnP try turning it off if not done so already

I had the same problem, the internet light was on but had trouble loading any web pages. Did ring sky cs but they said ring back in 15mins because all our computers are down. Tried the connection 10 mins later and everything was fine, prob just a minor fault somewhere.
