      Re: Should I envisage problems?

Could be when BT changed their systems to show the new terminology etc, but what you are seeing from that order is an order to provide LLU (Sky) and to cease IPSTREAM (your old connection)

The fact it is same day shows a fail normally.

Thanks again for the info Newsreader,

My parents says exactly the same but dates read November 2006.

So I have no idea what is going on, especially as they do not have LLU enabled on their small exchange and SKY LLU is not avaialbe on mine either! It will be in June 2007!

No probs - wait 24 hours to allow any updates and report back

A sure sign things are moving is when you get the router.

Actually just spotted you signed up for Connect, you would not see the info you posted, maybe BT have done the terminology change on the account.

      Re: Should I envisage problems?

I was under the impression they would not do that, maybe they have changed the ordering / delivery process and finally acknowledged that people have to work during the day.

Now get back to the cleaning of the yard and painting the coal white!

      Re: Should I envisage problems?

Well here is problemo numero uno!

Phoned Sky to change the install date of Sky + and have been told that my potfolio is corrupt

According to the system I am acustomer but don't have sky and have not ordered broadband or sky talk. I was even asked if my sky still works (it does)

Two days later and it has still not been resolved. It had been sent to system analysts !

Phoned yesterday to be told that there is a good chance nothing has gone through but he can't confirm that as the call history says that orders have been placed, just that noone can see them!

So when asked if the sky engineer will call on Friday (when there may be no one home and they can't cancel it becasue I am not with them! - still following) he said he didn't know.

the job numbe rI was given ties in to my account but there is no job there to be viewed!

Anyone experienced this before, what is the likely outcome, any insiders to Sky know why this was caused and when you reckon it will be fixed. I don't want to pay another month of my current boradband because of a system failure at Sky. The install agent said that broadband is processed on paper rather than through computer. ... is this right?

sorry about all the questions but I am fizzing!
