      Cannot get connected :mad:

      Hi,

      After waiting for 2 weeks with no internet and several phone calls later my router etc arrived yesterday.

      Not only did none of the 3 filters work (no dial tone when plugged phone in) - I had to use my old BT one.

      I just couldnt get connected, the internet light would come on after a reboot but then go off again. Tried various tests then called sky. After the tests again for him (which were the same results as when I did it) he then asked me to get onto the router which i did and it said error code 100.

      I have done a search and see it is no sync.

      They said they would call me within 48 hours after reading some threads on here i wont hold my breath!

      What can I do? Anything?

      I have been offline now for just over 2 weeks its driving me mad!!

      I am at work until 5.30 so any advice before then will be muchly appreciated.

      Do you gt adsl sync with your old modem. I won't connect but it will tell you if there is a fundamental problem with your line or if its a modem problem. I had a code 100 and changing modems has solved it.

      If it is the modem then you could extract the user name and password from the sky box and try using your old modem. I have done that and am now online
