      Thumbs up Connection Help

      Hi

      No problems getting setup with Sky broadband ordered it on the thursday morning, cut of by existing provider on the Sunday, received router on the wednesday and letter confirming activation date 16.2.07, went live 17.2.07, needed to call support has disk provided was no use, just a quick question has first time using ethernet port, sky tech got me to enable my LAN in Network Connections, which allowed me to access web, i checked this later on and have noticed that it opens up an Internet Gatway is this correct

      The Internet Gateway is the UPnP enabled in the router, this has been known to cause lock ups in the router.

      If you read this thread, at the bottom it mentions UPnP, if you have no use for it, try turning it off.
