Yes register! then post us some new stats. I am not expecting a great deal of difference, perhaps an snr increase and attenuation decrease.
Also do you still have your orange ring wires connected? These cause interference and are not used today, you can detatch them safely. But first describe your mater box and wires connecting to which terminals with colours

My speed doubled when I used the test socket, so it can make a big difference.

Just registered..............tonight I tried connecting the router to the test socket on my master socket but did not see any increase in speed.
My speed seems to have gone up today maybe Virgin have turned it up just to make me feel bad about leaving , anyway my activation day is Friday so lets just hope my speed goes up slightly I would be happy to get 1mb to 2mb speed.
The way I look at it is why pay Virgin for a crap service when I can get the same or maybe slightly more speed for £10 less a month.

Well still waiting, my activation date is the 8th September , had a look on the BT website at my account and there is nothing there so getting a bit worried.
Should I phone Sky up or just wait and see what happens?
P S If I phone Sky what would be the best number to use?
