Next time you speak to your lady friend, could you possibly attempt to negotiate a discount for respectfully declining their kind offer of McAfee (so called) Security Suite!

      Thumbs up

Hi, good luck with the forum Potential signups need a place to ask questions and assess how good a service it will be.

I emailed Sky with a question about web space and have not even received an acknowledgement. It didn't fill me with confidence As webspace isn't to be provided as part of the package then will it be available at an additional cost, and if so, how much?

If you guys can get an answer out of Sky that would be great

I am not bothered about a static IP but others will be so the same question applies to this.

From what I found out today, NO webspace, but they will have a Photobucket type service. Also it's a dynamic IP, not static.

      Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and am still awaiting my invite to sign up to Sky broadband which I will do as soon a sI can, the email suggested a couple of weeks so fingers crossed.

Anyway I wanted to ask the question:-

I see they state no newsgroup access. Is that justy they don't include access themselves. I use Easynews newsgroup provider anyway but just wanted to check theat they won't block me using this.

I suspect that it will be ok but just checking.
