Re: Speed has dropped below 10%

Yup same here, I get over 7000kbps running the speed test to Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, and downloading a large file from Microsoft. Looks like some sort of issue with the UK peering. I can't see how it can be an exchange-based issue, anyone know if this is affecting everyone?

This is where Sky/Easynet fail in their customer service, if they had some sort network status page it would stop us wasting their time phoning tech support and logging calls for a known issue. Also it would give us a place to check for resolution, explanations for the issue etc.

Ho hum we can only dream.

Actually Easynet do have a status page but it looks very oriented towards their business customer base:

Easynet UK > Support > Status Information

Yes, it is a stab in the dark
Ive used 3 different speed testers including the one on thinkbroadband.com and also real world downloads and they all reflect the same thing.
Its so bad even WoW is struggling for bandwidth. I'll give it a few days to clear then call them I guess.
