Cool Activated now then please post info here

Ok lets get some idea of how the activation is going and the time taken from order to activation all in one place so that all our visitors will have some kind of guide. In here please don't reply to any posts.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

from cable so a new connection
Router attempted delivery: 25th August
Collected router from depot: 29th August
Activation date: 31st August

initial Downstream approx 3600kbps

after using test socket:
Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 6708 kbps 766 kbps
Line Attenuation 40.5 db 25.9 db

Conclusion: I need a new faceplate

Connection Due: was 25th August then 9th September Then 14th September Now 28th November
Actually Connected: 28th September Now 28th November Done
Up sync speed:15144 from router
Down sync speed:766 from router

Ps Had to Pay Free Online £19.49 for another month 13th Sept - 13th Oct Due to Sky and Bt
