My Noise Margin was 28db 29db on pipex
so is the sky Noise Margin at 7.2 db 9.7 db low and is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Jul 26 Registered interest with Sky.
Aug 8 Got email saying I would receive more info in 2 weeks.
Aug 24 Got email saying I could sign up with my BAND code.
Aug 29 Asked for MAC code from Pipex amazingly received it same day!!!!
Aug 29 Phoned up sky, gave them my BAND code and also my MAC
code they said 5 days for router and up to 12 days for activation.
Aug 29 Ordered Ethernet card for my PC
Sept 1 Router arrived.
Sept 2 Letter with activation date going to be on Sept 8 arrived.
Sept 2 Letter with username arrived.
Sep 8 Line should be activated. It wasn't
Sep 8 Rang Sky for update - wait till midnight blaa blaa blaa
Sep 9 Rang Sky for update - didn't have a clue - told to ring back
Sep 9 Rang Sky for update - put through to provisisioning - didn't have a clue - told me to ring BT?!?!? - told them that was their job and to ring me back with an answer or I would cancel!!! Promised to call within 48 hours - they didn't
Sep 9 Checked BT Tracker revised date for 15 Sep now showing
Sep 10 - Sep 14 Decided it was a waste of time and money talking to Sky anymore - still no return call from Provisioning as promised.
Sep 15 As if by magic finally connected as per BT Tracker - all working OK but I have a low SNR problem to sort - probably internal wiring.
