      Does sky block p2p?

      hi

i have just switched over to skybb connect from aol and the speeds are alot faster but theres 1 problem i cant get limewire or azureus working, it is very very slow eg 1kb or less. Do sky block you from downloading or cap it?

feels like i have made a mistake.

      Hope someone can help

      Many thanks

They traffic shape so it would be slower - only on the Connect pakage

Make sure you have it setup properly and that you have forwarded the ports in the router

Here is a guide for using Azureus as an example

Your profile says Connect - perhaps if wrong you could correct?

No. I use limewire and Azureus and get much higher speeds than AOL. DONT go back to the facist that are carphone *****house (AOL).
Takes a little tweaking thats all.

      Re: Does sky block p2p?

      i pull 1.47MB on torrents!!

the same as my http download on a well seeded torrent. Try some software called port trigger if you are struggling setting up your bt client. Or use the excellent tutes on here that work perfectly if followed.
