      New MAC Rules from Today

      Just read this at the BBC: BBC NEWS | Technology | Broadband switching set to ease

      Does Sky have to issue MACs or does being on LLU mean they are exempt from this MAC process?

      if ur on base,mid or max, u dont need a mac code if u leave sky broadband,

      for connect customers, mac codes will be given.

      So what happens if you want to migrate when you're on LLU (on Sky's network) ?

      leaving a llu service, is just cancelled on the system and ur adv how long it may take for service to shut down.

      when give mac code out, service is still active till another isp comes and tells current isp they taking the line.

      interesting - but if you the line has to be ceased on LLU, doesnt that mean you cant do it unless your past the min contract?
