      No order on BT Tracker.

hi all. should be moving to LLU on sky. was told on fri 2nd Feb - 5 or 6 working days ago, that connect would be cancelled and then an order for the max package would be placed. Problem is nothing is showing up on the BT tracker.

Is this normal? I want to give sky until the end of this week (which will be 10 working days from date of cancellation), but I don't want to be back at square one.

Can anyone else remember how long these things usually take to appear on the tracker? Am I worrying about nothing?

      cheers

Re: No order on BT Tracker.

My experience (although, I hope this isn't indicative of the majority!)...

I've been on Connect since going live on 8th Jan. SKY said they could move me over to Max within 48 hours just a couple of weeks later (48 hours is just a nonsense claim though). The next time I called, they said give it 7 days for the move over. Two weeks later, and after seeing nothing on my BT Tracker, I wrote with a general complaint about the level of CS and trying to find out what was going on.

They wrote back and said this:

"there has a been a problem in the provisioning of the Max package as BT could not find a migration key. I was advised that the best way forward would be for yourself to either put in a new order for the Max package or a regrade from the Connect to The Max this would have to be done through sales."

Because of this, I personally would suggest writing to them on BroadbandTechnicalSupport@BSkyB.com (as they can ask Provisions what the situation is with your account, like they did for me... no-one in Provisions would speak to me directly) or phone the freephone to see what's going on.

Re: No order on BT Tracker.

I have done that Herman. I had an email from a guy in customer relations. he said he would put a cease on my line himself, and then place an order for max on my behalf. The problem is that after 6 days, no order is showing up. I am expecting that after 10 days, nothing will have changed. If this is the case then I will be through with sky.

edit: by the way, I have never had a problem speaking to provisions. what number are you using?

The order has now appeared and says completed (today). Cease IPStream, enable LLU. does this mean i should be on skys network soon?

Re: No order on BT Tracker.

Sounds like a nightmare. Glad it got sorted for you though. I can imagine how bad it must have been, and good luck in your quest for compensation.

On the positive side though, there are people who have had no problems. I'm not siding with Sky at all, but it's wrong to tar everyone with the same brush.

Just thought I'd try to put a positive air to this post!

bryan_b: I thought I had it rough. good luck with getting some compensation. I have had to threaten these jokers with trading standards too. It was then that customer relations got involved and all of a sudden things started to happen
