      Re: What next??

Why not plug it in using the LAN /ethernet connection only.
While waiting for the internet light to go green.
Take a look at the CD instructions first,
but do not install the software.
Or try to log into the Sky portal.
      Or use Sky email.

      It worked for me.

      No you don't.
And if the users on this site are anything to go by
installing McAfee, an option on the CD, is asking for trouble.
The CD does however have some clear install instructions
      and clever clever graphics.
Or as the boss says, you can use it as a coffee cup stand.
But not when in your CD drive.

      Re: What next??

The only reason to watch the CD is to make sure
      you connect the router correctly.
      1. Did you do this.
      2. How many lights are showing on the router.
      3. What colour are they.
      4. Do you have a connection date?
You will only be able to access the internet with your browser
when the Internet light is green.
Otherwise leave the router on and wait until the light goes green.

Or it might be best to wait until the letter comes.

If it were me I would uninstall whatever it is you have installed.
      Unless someone else posts otherwise.

      Re: What next??

      Hey Pete.
I see you do not have a connection or activation date.
Its best to wait for that.
I'm surprised to read your Internet light is green.
Mine stayed red until BT cleared markers off my line but
that could have been a special case.
      Good move not installing McAfee.
But don't forget you will need anti-virus software.
