DownStream Connection Speed Drop by 25%

Have been connecting on the Max package for over month at
      DownStream Connection Speed 8091 kbps
      noise level 8.9- 10

yesterday i could only connect at

      DownStream Connection Speed 6144 kbps

      noise level 15

I have rung sky techincal support they have rasied a ticket.

I have a ticket raised by them before as i was meant to adsl2 not adsl 1
but they said there was no room at the exchange.

My router is plugged directly to the master socket with and adsl nation faceplate.

There response was its your computer you need to go in msconfig.
I said no i dont because its where the router handshaking with your connect
now sky are telling to wait up2 five days, that is not acceptable.

They tell me i cannot speak to tier 3.

I've got exactly the same problem. My connection speed is also 6144 and I have been waiting for a call from Tier 3. Ticket was raised 5 days ago.

Did you get any further with this matter. I had no call from Tier 3 after 7 days of waiting, I've just followed it up and they have escalated it.
