      Does anyone out there in sky broadband world know how i am supposed to get my username and password to access all of sky broadband features? Have emailed sky countless times,all they say it's in the post!!

      Hi I have just ativated my sky bb and alls well, apart from I have no details of my username or password to set up email. (I still have my ntl bb .)

      On the last letter I received 22/01/07 they say it is below but there was no details of it at all

      Who would I contact for this information? Or can I log into "sky by broadband" or ?

      Any help please

      They may not work when you get them anyway.

      I have had no access since my line was activated in Dec

      1 useless username that isn't recognised and 3 passwords later a fourth is in the post. 3 e-mails sent from t1 to sams (who deal with the issue) or so I thought first 2 never sent hoping 3rd has today.

      Try to ring 0800 0512595 - you may get messed around but it's a free call get the csa name and user id if they will give. some will some won't. You then have a point of reference if there is a problem.

      Did you ever receive a password?

      My father has managed to get his router working eventually but Sky insist they have sent him a password 7 times yet nothing has been received.

      Any suggestions?

      Sky sent me a letter with a password but no username - heh

      (It turned out I use the profile name I had previously set up at sky.com (before I even thought about Sky Broadband). The password they sent didn't work for logging in - I used the original one I set, but I do need the password they sent for the pop server on that account... *shrug*)

      Are you sure, when I change my password on sky.com it changes them all including pop server, they all seem to be linked together.

      Yes, it took me a good while trying different ones. (And I just tried changing it again to check.) The new accounts I set up use the one from the web, but not the original one.

      Mind you when I log in the portal with the original password the email part doesn't work (probably to do with the different passwords).

      Also bear in mind I haven't changed my password (the account uses the one I originally set and the pop uses the one sky sent, I haven't tried to change either). I expect if I do it will probably reset them all, but I'm fine for now - will let you know if I do.

      Sky has sent me two routers but no password, have phoned 5 times and get a different story every time, I mean how hard can it be. Using gmail now.
