      very low speed

I've been a user for a month and although my line can take 4.5M I'm only getting 200K. I've spoken to Sky several times, they're referring it to tech depts and never call back.

All the hardware, setup and the like are OK.

      Anyone else with similar experience?

      Re: very low speed

      Hi Radostin,

Which exchange are you connected to? I only ask as I am having exactly the same issues with Sky at the moment & I am connected to the Chesham exchange.

I have had a 200kbps download speed since activation over 2 weeks ago. I have also been struggling to get any sense out of Tech Support & they've been passing me from pillar to post. Each time I phone up, not only do I spend a stupid amount of time on hold, but you end up speaking with somebody different. The notes they take to put on your file are obviously not very good, as they always ask me the same old questions. Thankfully nobody has ever asked me if I had tried "turning it off & on again" ala The IT Crowd!

Thankfully my case is now 'personally' in the hands of one of the managers after I jumped up & down and complained, saying that I would NOT be put on hold again & that someone can call me back for a change!

Hang on in there & hopefully they'll sort us out. Keep us posted!

      Cheers, Tuft

Easynet UK > Support > Status Information
