      operating systems

      i have the router connected to my desktop via ethernet cable and my wifes laptop via wireless, both using xp. my old laptop has 98 , would i be able to connect wirelessly to skybb. it used to conect on my old providr with no problem.

      it will work but you 'may' need to change some TCP/IP settings

      The Sky router spec requirements list 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP etc so if you've previously been able to go wireless with another provider on your laptop, I assume the wireless adapter you used must have driver support for 98, so give it a go I would say.

      it will work, I use an old P133 Fujitsu tablet PC as a wireless picture fram mounted on my wall running win98. As long as you have the drivers for your laptops wireless card then it will work, you may have to use WEP instead of WPK depending on the drivers in win98.
