      Re: help

i am on aol at mo also what package are you on that 30 seems odd for a 2mb line 30 is usualy for platnum members if ur getting only 2mb you would be better on a lesser package likely the silver -though with the new changes that will now be gold

how far are you from your exchange that will effect your speed

anyhow if only getting 2mb your defonitly on the wrong package with the price u gave

if you are going to leave aol do it now while u can --if still within your 12month contract you can leave without any hassle untill feb when they bring in that fup crap with the cpw talk talk
on a side note good luck getting your mac code from them there giving a lot of people the run around

indeed that is odd--are your filters working ok and connected to the main phone socket in the house--better yet for every phone socket in the house do u have a filter connected you'll have got at least 3 when ur modem came

does your speed go up and down or is it at a stable 2mb as that is very odd

are you thinking of chaning to sky?

yea though i cant get it where i am at mo so have to wait a bit longer i aint staying with ao hell if they are gona possibly start capping and messing about with things not to mention selling out to that talk talk they in my opp and going by info ive been given are crap
a good few from aol are going due to this though some are staying to see if the outcome is going to be better than being expected

how can i check what speed i can get

try the ones Alan b put in for u above another is

      UK Broadband Finder - Home

aol though cant find the thing at mo when joining have a postcode thing letting you know what speed you can expect to be able to have hope you get things sorted though if you don't download a lot i would sujest changing something be it isp or your package as your paying for speed you aint using or getting at moment
