SNR margin going up and down = very slow speeds

      Hey

Been connected with SkyBB MAX since October and not really had any problems since then, the connection has been rock solid.

But today my connection is very slow and has at times dropped out. Seemed fine when I woke up but after 10:30am it went slow. I noticed my SNR margin is all over the place today but I don't know why. After disconnecting and connecting again after about 15 minutes speeds are like sub 56kbps

      Any ideas?

      cheers

With all the recent stormy weather it could be your line has become damaged.

When you say "my SNR margin is all over the place today" can you be more specific?

Seems to be ok again now, touchwood.

The SNR margin is usually around 13 to 14db but this morning it was going from 8 to 12 every few minutes, which was making the connection unstable.

Hopefully it should be fine now. fingers crossed
