      Strange dropped connections

      Hi,
I'm new to Sky broadband, getting my line activated last Thursday. I have an 8 mb package and am connecting to the router by cable. After a trouble free Friday, I have had nothing by problems. I have to reboot my router to get any connection. My connection to the web lasts for about 30 minutes then goes down. However, I continue to play online poker on PokerStars for about another 30 minutes, then that connection also goes down. Reboot the router and the same sequence of events occurs again and again. Have not yet tried Sky tech support. Should I?
Any body got any suggestions. I have previously had mainly trouble free broadband connections to Demon, Pipex and Bulldog. If you want any figures for my connection, please tell me how to get them.
      Thanks in advance.

      Re: Strange dropped connections

Thanks for your reply. One quick question: Should I not be able to connect to my router (ethernet connection) at any time, regardless of the state of my internet connection?
