Can show up immediately or up to a few days after the order is placed.

      When did you order?

No not yet, also if my current router a DG832G gives me 6Mbit + but puts my SnR as 45dB and a Draytek 2600G gives me 5Mbit yet has a 42dB level which would be the best router to plug in at this time to ensure sky pop me on ADSL2+ or are both too borderline

No sorry I dont mean to use I might have worded it wrong. Im guessing once they grab my pairs in the exchange they will line test me and if they see a better dB will that base their decision to put me on 2+

      Re: How long

afaik and I may be wrong, its irrelevant, to me they appear to be going off a database of line figures etc.

A lot of people get put on GDMT and then moved from there.

I was put on GDMT and went through all the other alternatives, ie adsl2, adsl2+ and the difference (because of my line) was none existent.

I think it all depends on the line quality etc.

      Re: How long

I can't say yes or know as we do not know how they test the line.

When I changed over I had my none Sky branded D834GT plugged in, if that helps.
