      what do you make of these?

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 8128 kbps 448 kbps
      Line Attenuation 19.0 db 11.5 db
      Noise Margin 10.9 db 24.0 db


      thats whats coming form the sky router through my tiscali connection, are these numbers good or bad? (ignoring connection speed) more concerend about noise and line.

      Sky router on Tiscali? So you've flashed the router with standard Netgear firmware and are using it to connect to another ISP?

      Sorry but I've no idea what you are asking. Do you want to know if this is good for Tiscali (then I've no idea)? Or what could you expect with Sky?

      If the latter then probably good as in you have a low attenuation - it's impossible to extrapolate noise across ADSL modes and service providers.
