      This one seems to be popular and free Betanews - Comodo Firewall Pro they also do a free virus scanner as well

      Though I use Outpost Firewall PRO and NOD32 AV

      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      ok think ive cracked it, it was NIS intrusion detection, it scans every page before opening it, hence each page was taking so long to open!! all sorted now but I will be getting rid of NIS!!! thanks for all your help guys!!
