Thanks, from what I have read on here I am taking the plunge by ordering Sky BB but look forward to it, once this tag is eventually cleared.

To be honest I don't think you are taking a risk since its the same kit you are now on that they will reconnect you to when it happens, I have had no problems since I was connected 4 months ago.

True shouldn't hopefully be any problems but I just want this connection to be off asap. See sky say it can take to 5 workin days for a line to clear and UK Online said 10-15 working days.

I do not understand this. Called UK Online Monday to cancel, told 24 to 48 hours to be cancelled but upto 10-15 days to be cleared off the line. Today same thing.

BT Wholesale haven't had a request through and I now been told by yet another person that it will take 10-15 days to get the contract cancelled and the line cleared.

      This is plain annoying

      Re: Non Bt Line?

Sorry Keith but this sort of thing happens with a lot of ISP's and as with most you need to give 30 days notice to quit I guess they figure its ok.

      Re: Non Bt Line?

Yeah true, but there is no notice period with my contract to cancel, so surely they are messing me around by telling me different things.

From one point of view they could stop my service instantly if I say didnt pay a Bill, so why can't they process my cancellation just as quick?
