ahh right so T3 for you (after the got another ticket open) did the necessary work in contacting bt etc without contacting your first ?

on a side note, after messing around connecting, disconnecting the sky router for the testing they ask me to do the sync speed on the Prodogy check has now dropped a level down from 6500 to 6000, so thanks sky your even managing to degrade my current connection

Thats good news for you and yep T3 can be like if its only BT they have to bitch at there is no point in calling the customer, it would however be nice for them to call once they have it sorted to make sure all is ok.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

thanks mate, feel slightly less worried now as initially I thought that nothing would move at all until T3 call me first, then only after I've explained everything again will they jump into action. At least there's a chance they could be doing some checking before hand.

I doubt that calling Tier 3 direct will do you any good to be honest but give it a go you never know. As for calling BT that will be of no use what so ever as they will just refer you back to your ISP.

Re: Still waiting to be migrated from BT BB

      Finally got Sky BB.
      Good speeds aswell.
So to finish this thread, this what happened yesterday.
Called the Service recovery team (sounded very helpful and friendly) and while I waited they called BT and Sky Tier 2/3 and confirmed that I was still on BT Broadband only by the fact that it said ADSL instaed of LLU ADSL on my line. All the computers were still saying I had been migrated.

Anyway got home from work the phone is dead, but the BT broadband is still working. At least I could make calls with Skype! Call the fault in to BT who send an engineer out to me today. It seems some jumpering was done incorrectly at the box either at the end of my street or the local exchange.
So he says the phone line is working, but how the Bt broadband isn't.
Suddenly I'm like a dog with two whatevers. Plug in the Sky router as quickly as possible and ha presto it works, download speed of 13m and .7m upload.

Only problem is my BT phone know sounds very crackly
so there you go get onto the Service recovery team 02392 899 292.
      cheers
