      SKY bb Speed Question

      Hi all,

      Its my first post.

I have just ordered SKY bb via their website using my MAC code from ZEN.

I have a quick question regarding download upload speeds.

I tried asking SKY today but they just gave me the up to 16mb line. I dont think they knew what I was talking about when I gave them my router stats.

      Not good start....

I know I am on a poor line, with a current 58db aten and 5.9 -9db noise line.

I can sync at between 3mb and 4.6 depending on the time of day, but I can rarely hold anything above 3.3 for long.

My profile is set to 2.5 but I know I could get 3mb if I moved router to master face plate.

      My question is this.

If I move to sky max, which I am will my speeds go up because its adsl 2 ?

ps is the upload 448mb ?

      Thanks in advance.

      Don

      Re: SKY bb Speed Question

      Welcome to the site Don

Good luck with your order as for the kind of speeds you could get well that all depends on your line if you have stats from your router there is a link in my Sig that will give you a rough idea for the Max package.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
