Been very annoyed for the last 15hrs or so... my activation date was yesterday (the 4th) and got home to see my router still not showing me the nice glowing 'i' light.
Spent the rest of the evening constantly phoning Customer Services every 5 min, and did not get thru, till I got a message about them not being able to answer due to 'unforseen circumstances' - not impressed at all. Good thing I didn't bring home some of my work as I wud have being in a deep pile of..........I always say the truth... even when I'm lying

They were due to activate me on the 1st and didn't get activated till the 2nd, make sure you speak to provisioning when you get through as they sorted it within a few hours for me on the saturday

@ brucemac & spcdust: Thanks guys
I phoned them a while ago, and was informed that the line probably hadn't become active till midnight... which mean techically my activation date in the letter shud have been the 5th...
In any case, heres looking forward to finally getting online once I'm homeI always say the truth... even when I'm lying

I also got told by Midnight, however i didn't believe them.
I was due to be connected on the friday, and wasn't called saturday morning and was told would be conected by 12pm and wasn't so called back and spoke to provisioning who said that there was a problem but would be active in a few hours.
In my experience was 1 day delay to BT and a small prob with Sky all resolved with a phone call. I would always check with provisioning or ask the advisor to go through so that it is recorded on your notes. As I called up every 2 days to check that there was no problem.

I'm in the same situation but according to BT I have no open orders against my account and when I phoned Sky they told me to phone back in three days so they can give me a new activation date. When I told them about the BT site they muttered something about "another system".... any ideas?

I also had my activation due today. Has anyone had a line activated after 7.00pm? I called sky they told me BT start activations from the morning until 12am. I hope they are not just making excuses.
