Signed up woohoo
Finally got my MAC code today so i rang sky up they answered very very fast,
i was asked my BAND number then he asked me if i had existing broadband i said yes then he asked who i told him he asked have you got a MAC code i said yes then gave it to him,
he then asked if i would be interested in sky talk i said no so he didn't push it,
he then asked if my PC was wireless i said no he then said you will need a wireless adaptor to use the sky wireless router i said its ok ill use my existing cable from the router i got now and plug it in the back he paused then said ok,
(ok these people are new and reading from a script but how many people have been caught out like that)
he then said i could buy an adaptor for £20 either from sky or another shop
i said it's ok ill stick to my wires,
he then read me parts out of the Sky Broadband contract,
he then told me my email address it is the name i used to register interest he also said it would be a couple of days before i could use that email and i could also have up to 4 more address's,
he told me i would receive a letter confirming soon then it would be up to 10 days for the router to turn up and up to 14 days for me to be connected and i would be able to get 3Mb which is an improvement on what i get now which is 1-2Mb so I'm happy as i live miles from me exchange.
so the next 2 weeks will be interesting indeed, lets see what happens"To help would be a great adventure"

Well thats more info that i got when i called up!!!!
I have called back every couple of days to ensure that it is still going ok and to plan.
I would advise that you call a couple of times during the 2 weeks to make sure that everything is still ok. I am due for activation on the 1/9/2006.
However i have received 2 letters and my router, however i have not received my welcome pack and also details of my email address and password!!!
hope it comes tomorrow or they will be getting another call!
