Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

i didn't get connected on the 8th phoned them up on the 9th and they said they would have to re put the order through which i feel they have done because I'm now showing on the BT tracker for the 15th (Friday) and i just got this email from my current ISP....

We have been informed that telephone number: ************ is moving to an LLU
provider. Any ADSL services held with us on this line will cease due to this
      change of provider.

Your ADSL Service will terminate on: 2006-09-20 (year-month-day)

If you think this is incorrect please contact your new service provider or
      BT on 150.

If you have the uncapped PURE IP Wires Only Service and had a waived activation
fee on subscribing to the service then a charge of 59.99 will be applied
to your account if you have held the Service for less than 12 months on the
      date of termination.

      Kind regards,

      freedom2surf Broadband Administration
so i am very confident i will be connected then

I have also been onto Sky, they told me they have a 72 hour back log , I was also told my activation day would be the 8th September.

When I looked on the BT tracker website it now says I will be activated on the 15th September, that would seem to indicate they have more than a 72 hour delay.

yes it sure does, as 72 hours is only 3 days we are going to be 7 days late it does tie in with other peoples late activations though so wasnt really expected
