Re: Unbelieve has happened !! Sky Re-Provide

The cancellation process, depending on your package, can range from 10-40 days. What customers are told now over the phone, is that if they have a tag (LLU) on their line, then it can take around 30 days to clear.
As Sky use an LLU type connection, one can only imagine it will take just as long to clear them.

The process can take a while, and to be honest, cancellations are probably not terribly high on their priority list. As far as i know, cancellations for broadband go to an SRT team, which consists of around 80 men and women, dealing with 100's of requests every day, which don't include just cancellations, they include tag removals, MAC errors, etc, etc.

So expect it to take a while.

I only managed to get a CEASE on my line when I e-mailled James Murdoch. Then it took from 23/12/06 to 27/12/06 for them to order it and it'll be done on 08/01/07.

Re: Unbelieve has happened !! Sky Re-Provide

I had things like that when I had a broken phone line. I used the BT site to put the "This line is broken and they know it" message on until it was fixed.

Anyone know if they do this while messing with Tie pairs and the like?
